The Pithampur Auto Cluster provides employment opportunities to more than 10000 people. Out of these 7500 are workers. At present, industrial units face a shortage in skilled labour. This is mainly due to the non-existence of proper industrial training institutions. Catering to the requirements of local industry.

PAC envisages the setting up of a state of the art Industrial Training Institute (ITI) to address the need of local industry for trained technical manpower.

By tying up with a world class technical training institution PAC hopes to develop a pool of highly skilled technical personnel to take up the challenges of modern industry.

Achievement of the vision for the Pithampur Auto Cluster is critically dependent upon rapid and sustained growth of the existing components base and the establishment of large numbers of new components production facilities.

PAC has to establish a Centre for Small & Medium Enterprise to provide management development services to existing units in the Pithampur Industrial Area and for incubation of new ventures in the auto component industry.

The proposed facility would include training classrooms, consultation rooms, conference rooms, computer facilities, a business library and accommodation facilities.

Consultancy services and management development programmes would also be provided by the IIM to units in the Auto Cluster.

The primary aim of PAC is to increase the productivity of the nation by means of Human Resource Development I Industrial Training. The integrated use of training and development, organizational development and career development to improve individuals, group, and organizational effectiveness.
